Hey guys, Chad from digital nomad quest and today we’re gonna talk about six best ways to repurpose your content. Now if you guys are new to this channel welcome I’m all about teaching on how to build passive income become financially free and design your best lives. In my previous video, I talked about four tips on pushing out content and that’s why I wanted to follow up with this video about repurposing content because it can be super crucial to saving a lot of time so I’m going to talk about this about repurposing your YouTube content. Okay, so you’re going to have to first make your YouTube video and then tip number one, you’re going to take the audio from your YouTube video and then put that up as a podcast. So I do this a lot, right I do this for all of my podcast episodes because I find the tips I put on YouTube a lot of it is audio based unless I’m sharing screen. So what I do with my podcast episodes is I put an intro and an outro and then I take the audio from the YouTube video and put that in between the intro and outro so that intro and outro is huge. All over all my episodes, but then the content in the middle is from the YouTube videos that I’m filming. And then I take that audio from it. In order to do this, you can export your videos as an mp3 and then that can be used or WAV file works as well. I have my editors export the mp3 for me so that I can drop that in as podcast episodes. If you want to create your own podcasts, you can sign up for free on anchor FM. There are different pros and cons for different platforms. But because I’m not super focused on podcasting, right now, I just use anchor.fm to repurpose my content to reach a wider audience. Number two, you want to transcribe that audio and then turn that into a blog post. So this is one of my favorite tips. In my interview with Pat Flynn, we talked about if that actually improves SEO if you create blog posts with the entire transcription of a podcast and he actually worked with SEO experts who told him that yes, it does help. So what you’re going to do is go on otter.ai and then you’re going to upload your audio files and then they’re going to transcribe it for you. But then I put a disclaimer like look, these are transcript From otter.ai, so it might not be super accurate. And then that’s how I put these transcriptions of all my blog posts in the future, I might want to have someone edit it and actually go through it to make sure that the transcriptions are super accurate. But right now, I don’t think it’s super necessary. Number three, you can create quote, images or audio grams of your podcasts and put that on your Instagram feed. In order to do this, you can use tools like canva.com to create those images where you can take an important part of your video and then put that into a social media graphic, and then post that with a bunch of hashtags. So you can possibly get more views on the post, which hopefully will redirect to your YouTube videos. Number four, this is another option you can actually take the video from our YouTube and then upload that onto Instagram as an HGTV. So Instagram created that feature a while ago where you can put long form videos as an ID TV feature and then preview it into your Instagram feed. So I do that sometimes where the first 60 seconds are shown on your Instagram feed and then you can tap into it to watch the entire igtv number five you can reshare podcast episodes or your ID posts as stories. So I tend to do that to get more attention on to the post or attention on to the podcast episode how you can do that on your Instagram Stories if you’re gonna reshare the podcast episode is you should go to Spotify actually and then find your podcast episode and then reshare that on to your ID story. Or if you’re in it reshare your Instagram post you can click the Share button and that will redirect to your story and then you can put a sticker on top saying like tap here and then when people tap it, they’ll view the post number six You can also create a 15 second video that quickly sums up the points of your videos and put that into tik tok actually so Tick Tock has been interesting for me I’ve been using it and it’s a different way to get views and engagement so maybe I will make some videos later about Tick Tock so I hope you guys enjoyed this video on how to repurpose content.
