Last month, I attended Pat Flynn’s Fast Track Course Creation Workshop. It was interesting as for both Pat’s conference and his workshop, I didn’t have a huge idea of what was going to happen. Pat let us know a brief summary of what the events would entail but not a total play-by-play so I wasn’t totally sure what I was getting into. But since Pat is great, I wanted to participate and see!
Pat Flynn’s Fast Track Course Creation Workshop Review
I paid a whopping $3,000 for the workshop. It was priced at $4,000 but because I went with my significant other, we both got it at the $3,000 discounted price.
Even though the price was quite high, I thought it was worth it. Because we got to walk through the course creation process with Pat himself, we got some one-on-one mentoring for each of our niches and course ideas. We also got to get feedback from the entire class and network with them. They were very supportive and helpful, and it is always great to meet other entrepreneurs doing similar things. We also got goodies and free food the whole weekend which was nice :).
Here’s a video of the recap:
If you are looking into learning anything, courses are great, but live workshops are even better! I would definitely recommend getting that in-person experience where you can ask the teacher any questions you have and talk to others in the class.
I also think developing strong relationships like that is a good idea. Whenever you surround yourself with others who are doing similar things as you, you’ll advance more quickly even if you’re not consciously realizing it. And it’s better to invest money into yourself than to be cheap about educational materials and not want to spend the money. I’ve learned that the hard way – that you can get a lot further in your businesses if you actually invest in education and tools. It took me way longer when I was depending on free resources and tools.
