Happy Thanksgiving 2018 all! Most of my day was spent cooking and working on this blogging course I’m making with my friend.

I am a day late with this post but I wanted to list out 60 things I’m grateful for. According to this Psychology of Happiness course I took in college, having a gratitude list is great for happiness. Writing this list helped me remember all the great things I have in life. I can’t complain!

A List of 60 Things I’m Grateful For

1. The beautiful day today. The smoke in the bay area is finally clearing up!

2. My health

3. Not having to worry about money

4. My warm socks

5. Being able to cook a Thanksgiving dinner with my friend

6. The ability to travel when I want

7. Having passive income on top of my full-time job

8. Experiences – both the amazing ones and the hardships – cause they taught me so much

9. Feelings – happy, sad, and everything in between – because the range of emotions gives me perspective

10. Italki for letting me learn Spanish for $6/hour each week though I’m still terrible at Spanish

11. My new phone

12. The show Friends (I think I’m on the 6th or 7th time of rewatching the entire show)

13. The fact that the Bay Area is a lot warmer than many parts of the world right now

14. Having close friends and family who always have my back

15. Everything my parents provided and sacrificed for me

16. My car!

17. My 2 years of travel

18. Not having to worry about food

19. A roof over my head and a warm home

20. Electricity

21. The ability to pursue the things I want to do

22. The Spanish and Korean music I’ve been listening to

23. Music in general

24. My current productive habits that I’ve implemented

25. The motivation to tackle my personal goals and life goals

26. My new Garmin vivosmart 4 that tracks my sleep, stress, heart rate, steps, and more

27. The fact that I started blogging 3 years ago

28. Having passions in life

29. My full-time job. Even though I’m working towards full financial independence, I am in disbelief around how great it is having my current job. So I can’t help but be super grateful! It makes me care less about putting a specific date on when I would “retire”

30. The existence of musicals!

31. The fact that I started reading books when I used to hate reading

32. The game Red Alert

33. The fact that the internet lets digital nomads work remotely

34. This recliner couch I’m sitting on

35. Having warm clothes and a blanket

36. Hot showers

37. Being an entrepreneur

38. Not losing touch with my friends (thank you instant messaging)

39. My AMC Stubs A-List Pass

40. Becoming aware of my tendencies that are good and bad – learning that humans are fluid so that we have the ability to change who we are if we want to

41. Being able to live at my parents’ place if I want to (and it is wished for by my parents)

42. Being able to live in Hong Kong when I want as we have a place there

43. The fact that I’m learning to enjoy the journey

44. Having choices in life – e.g. if I wanted to move to a different country, learn new languages, get an MBA, create my own startup, pursue music full-time, or retire in Thailand, they’re all possible – it’s just a matter of choosing a path

45. All my body parts – from my brain and heart to arms and legs and everything in between.

46. My sense of smell, touch, taste, sight, hearing

47. Jamba Juice

48. Food delivery

49. Knowing there’s a long way to go with my personal development so there’s a lot I can do

50. Knowing there’s a lot of things I want to learn, master, and create – “Being bored is an insult to oneself” said Jules Renard. There’s so much to do in the world!

51. My logical nature as it lets me make good decisions in life

52. The connection I have with people in the Bay Area as they understand me well

53. Having places to call home and feeling like I belong

54. Understanding of different ways to live

55. Having both the American side and the traditional Chinese background. Even though I generally find it confusing and conflicting, I am learning to see the good sides of it all and the benefits

56. Being able to give a helping hand

57. My introverted and extraverted sides

58. Sleep

59. The ability to love

60. My life
